Sam Mescher
Born and raised just across the river in Metropolis, IL, Sam has always had a strong connection to the Paducah area. She moved to Tennessee for college, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training on a golf scholarship from Union University in 2017. After college, Sam moved to be with her high school sweetheart, stationed in the Marine Corps. Following her husband’s retirement from active duty, they relocated back to Southern Illinois for a couple of years but never quite felt at home. In 2021, they made the leap across the river to Paducah, and they haven’t looked back since!
Sam, her husband Ben, and their two children, Collins and Walt, are proud to call Paducah home. “Growing up right across the river, Paducah was where we went for everything anyway, so I am thrilled to be raising my kids here and officially call it home. The growth Paducah has seen in recent years is something I am excited to be a part of, and I can’t wait to help others find their home or new business opportunity in Paducah.”
In addition to her real estate career, you can still catch Sam at Paducah Tilghman High School on game nights, where she has served as the head Athletic Trainer for all sports for the past three years. With seven years of experience in the healthcare field, working at various orthopedic clinics across different states, Sam is adept at multitasking, thriving in fast-paced environments, and communicating effectively with diverse individuals and providers.
While Sam thoroughly enjoys her healthcare career, she has always had a passion for real estate and home design. “I decided to stop waiting and go for it,” she says. “I am excited to begin this journey and look forward to helping others in the Paducah area find their perfect home or business opportunity.”
